ISA CEU Review & Approval Process |
The process to assign Continuing Education Units (CEUs) from the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) to an event starts with your local chapter, the Pacific Northwest ISA (PNW-ISA). PNW-ISA uses external reviewers to approve applicable CEU's using the domains of the ISA Certification exam. The CEU code [example, PN-17-000] is then assigned by ISA. As an event coordinator, you can help ensure the process is seamless and timely for your event. To approve your event for CEU's, PNW-ISA will need to obtain important event information including: Event title and description, an agenda with break and lunch times noted, event date, start and end times, event location, speaker bio, and more. IMPORTANT DISCLAIMERTo obtain ISA CEUs for your event, we must receive your request three weeks prior to the start of the event. Please be aware that there may be a charge for coding these events depending on the lead time of your request. The following rates may apply on rush requests:
ISA CEU APPROVAL FORMBy completing the ISA CEU Approval Form below, you acknowledge that you are aware of the above fees and agree to paying these fees. When you enter your signature authorization and click submit on the ISA CEU Approval Form below, you are authorizing PNW-ISA to obtain your course codes for the fees above. These fees will be invoiced after your codes and sign-up sheets are issued to you. The invoice will be sent to the event coordinator’s email address provided in the online submission. The event coordinator/agency/ company will have 30-days from the date the invoice is issued to pay for the order in full. Be prepared to upload a copy of your event agenda and/or program description. Reviewers use this more detailed information to approve CEUs across the exam domains and specializations (aerial lift, board certified master arborist, certified arborist, certified tree worker, municipal specialist, and utility specialist). Incomplete agendas or descriptions delay the approval process. AFTER APPROVALOnce CEUs for your event are approved, you will receive the ISA CEU Sign-in Sheet and sign-in instructions. The sign-in sheet should be set out for attendees at the end of the event. Early signatures should not be accepted. As the event coordinator, you should make a copy of the final sign-in sheet(s). CEU sign-in sheets should be emailed directly to isa@isa-arbor.com. The copy should be saved and accessible for four (4) years from the event date. Do not send the sign-in sheets to the PNW-ISA. Thank you for helping ensure ISA Certified Arborists all across the Pacific Northwest have ample opportunities to learn and earn ISA CEUs. |
