For the past several years, PNW-ISA has offered 60 in-person workshops annually for its members and guests. In February 2020, its workshops came to a halt due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It wasn't until late July 2020 that PNW-ISA resumed its Tree Risk Assessment Qualification (TRAQ) and TRAQ Renewal workshops due to needs expressed by members honoring government contracts.

On July 15, 2022, PNW-ISA updated its COVID-19 protocols. Individuals are encouraged to review the current protocols for the United States and Canada PRIOR to registering for an in-person workshop/event.
