<title>2026 British Columbia Tree Climbing Competition - (MALE CLIMBER REGISTRATION)</title>

Beginning and experienced climbers are encouraged to participate.&nbsp;</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 16px;"><span style="box-sizing: border-box; background-color: #ffffff; font-size: 16px;">Climbers participate in five events: aerial rescue, belayed speed climb, ascent event/secured footlock, throw line, and work climb.&nbsp;</span><span style="box-sizing: border-box; background-color: #ffffff; font-size: medium;">Regional Tree Climbing Competitions are open to PNW Members and Non-Members alike.&nbsp; Anyone can compete in the Regional TCC event and win prizes.&nbsp;</span><span style="box-sizing: border-box; background-color: #ffffff; font-size: medium;">The top four qualifiers (who have been PNW region residents for 6 months prior to Championship event) are guaranteed a spot to compete in the Chapter Tree Climbing Championship this fall.</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 16px;">This will be a fun filled day that the entire family will enjoy. Please come and watch true tree care professionals at their best!</span></p>
<p style="box-sizing: border-box; margin: 0px 0px 10px; background-color: #ffffff;"><span style="box-sizing: border-box; font-size: medium;">Participation may be able to be used to waive the skills portion of the ISA Certified Tree Worker Climber exam by completing the Skills Waiver Form&nbsp;</span><span style="box-sizing: border-box; font-weight: 700; font-size: medium;">if an ISA approved CTC Evaluator is on site.</span><span style="box-sizing: border-box; font-size: medium;">&nbsp; In order to be eligible to use this Skills&nbsp;Waiver Form - you must complete all events successfully and successfully tie the knots as indicated on the Skills Waiver Form within one minute each. <p><span style="font-size: 16px;">Climbers participate in five events: aerial rescue, belayed speed climb, ascent event/secured footlock, throw line, and work climb.&nbsp;</span><span style="font-size: medium;">Regional Tree Climbing Competitions are open to PNW Members and Non-Members alike.&nbsp; Anyone can compete in the Regional TCC event and win prizes.&nbsp;</span><span style="font-size: medium;">The top four qualifiers are guaranteed a spot to compete in the Chapter Tree Climbing Championship this fall.</span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">Participation may be able to be used to waive the skills portion of the ISA Certified Tree Worker Climber exam by completing the Skills Waiver Form </span><strong style="font-size: medium;">if an ISA approved CTC Evaluator is on site.</strong><span style="font-size: medium;">&nbsp; In order to be eligible to use this Skills&nbsp;Waiver Form - you must complete all events successfully and successfully tie the knots as indicated on the Skills Waiver Form within one minute each.&nbsp;&nbsp;This is dependent on an ISA approved Evaluator available at the TCC event to perform the knots tying which will be confirmed prior to the event.&nbsp;</span></p>
