A new resource is now available for planners, inspectors, consultants, developers and builders who work with trees during construction and development:  the Tree Protection on Construction and Development Sites: A Best Management Practices Guidebook for the Pacific Northwest. The Guidebook is based on American National Standards Institute (ANSI) standards and Best Management Practices developed by the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA). It is printed on weather-proof paper, designed to be useful in the field as well as in the office. The Guidebook may be ordered by contacting either the Oregon or Washington Urban and Community Forestry Programs:
